\\ FOUNDER \\ Luís Rebelo de Andrade graduated with distinction in 1986 the architectural course from the Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa, while working and developing major projects with Intergaup, a national and international awarded Portuguese architectural practice. In 1988 he opens his own company, and starts developing the project for the English Embassy in Lisbon, and the Casa do Artista, a public building for the retiring artists, that earns him an important role on the Portuguese architectural panorama. During his career he earns several awards for his achievements in architecture and design, among which are the most innovative Portuguese project in 2007 and the best rehabilitation project in the city of Beja, Portugal. The Aquapura Douro Hotel&Spa was considered the best hotel in Portugal in 2008, and one of the 100 best hotels in the world, by several national and international publications. He emphasizes sustainable building and site development as fundamental to innovative and imaginative design.
\\ CO-FOUNDER \\
\\ CO-FOUNDER \\ Tiago Rebelo de Andrade (Lisbon 1982) has received a MArch from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto, in 2010. He completed part of his bachelor degree at Facoltá di Architettura Civile di Milano Bicocca, Politecnico di Milano, Italy under the Erasmus program. He has also completed the Advanced Management Program, at NOVA School of Business and Economics (2011). He has done an internship at Atelier de Arquitectura Proun Architects in London, United Kingdom (2007-2008). He has participated in the 2010 Architecture Triennial, in the contest to A House in Luanda: Patio and Pavilion. The jury of the contest was composed by the architects Álvaro Siza Vieira, Barry Bergdoll, João Luís Carrilho da Graça, Fernando Mello Franco and Angela Mingas, who assigned them the 2nd place (among an universe of 599 participants). He has participated in various architectural designs, such as: House of Fragrantes (Travessa do Patrocínio, Lisbon) – Architizer prize winner project for the Building of the Year 2012 and finalist on the site Archdaily for Building of the Year 2012; and the project Tree Snake House (Pedras Salgadas Park), held in partnership with the architect Luís Rebelo de Andrade, which had been published in national and international specialized press.
\\ SENIOR ARCHITECT \\ Raquel Maria Teixeira Jorge (Lisbon, 1980) studied architecture at Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologia, having graduated in 2003. In 2002 collaborated with the studio Santos Pinheiro - Arquitectos Associados, Lda; in 2003-2004 at Lisbon City Hall - Department of Urban Planning, Coordination Division of Planning; from 2004-06 in Regiurbe, Lda Project Center, and in Arquitraço in 2007, and is currently collaborating with the RA \\ Architectural & Design Studio.
\\ SENIOR ARCHITECT \\ Pedro Baptista Dias (Lisbon, 1985) studied architecture at Faculdade de Arquitectura e Artes da Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa. From 2008-10 worked at Puro Valor, Engineering, Consulting and Real Estate. In 2011 completed his MA with the thesis “The importance of concrete in the plastic expression of contemporary architecture”, coordinated by Manuel Mendes Taínha.In 2013 starts working in the atelier RA \\ Architectural & Design Studio.
